On October 17, 2019, the halls of Gaither High filled with students sporting shirts to promote the chorus program.  Vocal director Debbie Cleveland had chorus members wear their chorus spirit shirts in support of the program and the students involved.

“Our choruses spend a lot of time together, and they really work hard to be a team and accomplish our music and performance goals,” said Cleveland.

Gaither choruses shine in concert. The men’s chorus, women’s chorus, concert chorus and SHOWCASE performed last week in the annual fall concert and will take the stage again in the winter.

“Our next concert is our beloved holiday concert on December 12,” said Cleveland.

Cleveland says that each concert is better than the last and that the holiday concert is a personal favorite.  She also admits that she is not the only brains behind the concerts. According to Cleveland, the students do a lot of the planning and preparation themselves.
