Gaither’s annual Star Revue Talent Show took place on March 9 and was a major success. Students, parents and teachers were all in attendance to cheer on the students who definitely had talent. From singing to dancing, these students stole the stage and wooed the large crowd.

All together, there were 21 performances that varied from acts of singing, dancing, playing instruments, beatboxing and even drawing.

One such act was the performance of Roberto Delacruz and Josue Rosado, who rapped 3005 by Childish Gambino.

“My favorite performance was Roberto and Josue… everyone was singing along to it, it was so much fun! I thought it was also cool that Roberto was drawing Childish Gambino while Josue was singing, and he was really good at rapping. It was an energetic performance,” said attendee Angie Contreras, senior.

Not only were the performances energetic, but the crowd as well. Those in attendance were a high energy crowd that showed a great deal of support to every act on the stage that night.

“While the students were performing, sometimes they’d get nervous at some points but the crowd would keep cheering them on. I found this very inspirational because it shows what our school is like. I also found it very sweet of everyone to keep encouraging and cheering them on even when they wanted to stop,” said Ashka Shah, senior.

Congratulations to all the Cowboys that were able to showcase their talents in such a successful night.
