Yesterday sometime between dismissal and the rescheduled varsity football game one of the vending machines in the cafeteria was vandalized. The offender has been identified as a Gaither student, but administration did not release their name.

The Student Affairs office is responding with disciplinary action for the student. The broken vending machine is barricaded and inaccessible by students. Assistant Principal for Administration Deon Maddox said that this behavior will not be tolerated by any student.

“Any student that vandalizes the school will suffer the consequences of their actions.” Maddox said. Any student with information regarding the incident is asked to report to administration.
