What is Gaither’s FBLA Club?

Future Business Leaders of America, or FBLA, is a well respected and nationally recognized club that is offered to all grade levels here at Gaither high school.

FBLA helps students prepare for careers in a variety of fields, earn scholarships, earn community service hours, build connections and prepare students for real-world experiences.

Members are able to participate and compete in academic competitions at district, national and state levels to win personal prizes and recognition for the school. This year, due to COVID restrictions, all competitions will be held virtually.

“I have been a FBLA member since I was a freshman at Gaither, FBLA is a really good club to be in, there are a lot of great benefits and opportunities from being in this club,” said Senior Elizabeth Lydon.

Due to COVID restrictions, club days and club meeting times have not been approved or scheduled so club sponsor Catherine Martinez has started an FBLA canvas group for members and people interested in joining.

If you are interested in FBLA you can see Martinez in room 207 and pay a $15 fee to sign up and receive your FBLA t-shirt. The deadline to sign up is Friday, November 6. See Martinez in room 207 for more information or any other questions.
