Last school years’ undefeated JV football team will be reunited and ready to dominate next season.

The JV Cowboys claimed victory in each of their battles last season, despite obstacles. With typical injuries, many were benched for the season but the team still pulled through. The school’s rivals were crushed and others were added to the list of defeat.

This year’s JV team had an amazing season as well. Out of a six game season, there was only one loss.

Varsity has struggled a lot the past two seasons, going up against rivals that have improved and important players getting injured. This season is drawing to a close with one home game left. The school has only been able to bring two wins home.

So with JV moving up to Varsity, what does it mean for next year?

Bringing up the other half of the undefeated team will have a positive effect and will hopefully bring a repeat of the amazing stats.

Many on Varsity are excited for the new players and the promise they bring. “I feel confident about the next season. I’m looking forward to a better and more challenging season,” stated TJ Williams, a junior, number 32.

“[I want us] to just have a better record and dominate…[To be a] lot more disciplined and [having] the team more together (like as a family) [will make] next season be better.” Matthew Wood, a sophomore, number 51 continued with.

JV players moving up to Varsity are ready to take on the challenge of Friday night games.  They feel confident and that they will have a better season next year.

So with pumped players and promising stats, next year’s Cowboys are ready to fight with the rest of the school behind them.
