Are all paws ready? This past Saturday, Mar. 25th, right in the core of downtown Tampa, at Curtis Hixon Park, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the Human Society of Tampa Bay (HSTB) is hosted the 30th year of Bark in the Park.

Bark in the Park is a way for HSTB to raise money and have the dogs get the chance to be adopted. Attendees enjoyed vendors, dog costume contests, the doggy fun zone, adoptable, a VIP tent with mimosas and sweets, a pop up dog park and the mile-long walk for the animals along the river. There was live music by Stereo FM, different types of food trucks, wine and craft beer.

This year the event was hosted by FOX 13’s Walter Allen, Jen Epstein, and Lindsay Milbourne with special appearances by Q105’s Mason Dixon, B8.7’s Chadd & Kristi, and WQYK’s Marc in the morning.

Donations provide the shelter with food, spay/neuter services and medical care for all of animals surrendered to the HSTB each year. Help HSTB reach their goal of raising $120,000
